The war between two salvadorian gangs, Mara Salvatrucha and Pandilla 18, took the number of death casualties in 2012 to 14 dead bodies per day. With the government efforts, that number is becoming smaller everytime due to arrangements with the gangs members and a hard work in the neighborhoods. Even as that, El Salvador is considered one of the most violent countries of America Latina.
